When Not To Compromise

When it comes to purchasing a home, there is an endless amount to take into consideration before finding "the one". Often, homebuyers are forced to compromise and typically do not get everything on their wish list.

The following are some of the top three items that Realtors suggest buyers not compromise on.

The Floor Plan

It is difficult and expensive to reconfigure a home's floor plan. If a home does not meet your minimum criteria in terms of number of rooms and the flow of the main living areas, you may want to cross it off your list.

The School District

Buyers should visit the school district's website to get a map of its exact boundaries to avoid any surprises later on.

The Neighbors

Be aware of neighboring homes, as they can affect future resale value.
